"This dress is one of those creations where the mind wanders, imagines, and drifts away. I saw a long skirt and loved its movement, heavy and supple, the depth it gave with every step, like majestic waves breaking into foam and starting over again. To reproduce this effect on a short dress, I worked on the drape from the asymmetry of the shoulder in order to cut and sew everything on the bias to achieve this incessant movement of the fabric. I then had to enhance this heavy character with this handmade embroidery, oscillating and swimming in the depths of midnight blue."
